AppointmentPlus India Hiring for PHP Android QA/Testing With Over 3+ of Experience in Hyderabad

We’re looking for an experienced Android Developer who will be responsible for creating high-quality, efficient Android apps.

You’ll be joining a team that is passionate about Mobile and creating quality mobile apps.  We want someone who fits the following:

• Writes well designed apps that are useful and provide a memorable user experience

• Writes solid Java code that is both maintainable and easy to debug

• Able to work independently but can also contribute to team projects

• Follows the Android world closely, staying up to date with the latest frameworks

• Can build an app from an idea, able to architect, design, develop and launch

• 2 years of Java development experience

• 1 year of Android development experience, and have at least one personal app released to the Google Play store, or have worked on a team for a major, released app

• Experience with developing against RESTful APIs

• Experience working on a software development team, on a two week to one month scrum cycle

• Familiarity with Linux, Apache and MySQL

• Familiarity with PHP or other C based programming languages

Nice to haves:

• iOS development experience

• Experience with social media interfacing

• Intimate comfort level with either an Android or iPhone as your primary mobile device

You will be joining a team that is passionate about working on and creating high quality code in a PHP/LAMP environment.  Our developers need to play many roles and enjoy contributing both technically and on a business side.  The best candidates will have solid experience developing web applications utilizing Web 2.0 technologies.  In addition, these candidates will be people who are quick studies, organized and zealous about managing their development process from vision to completion.  They’ll excel in handling high-level development projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

·  3+ years of back-end software development experience

·  Passion for software development and OO Design

·  Familiarity with and understanding of all of the following: Linux, Apache, MySQL

·  Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks

·  Experience with version control systems such as Subversion or CVS a must

·  Comfortable with jQuery, CSS and HTML 5

·  Experience with building and using JSON/XML based APIs

·  Familiarity with mobile web application development

·  Experience with social media interfacing a plus

·         Taking a planned and self-directed exploratory approach to testing when conducting functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

·         Using your experience to anticipate/prevent bugs from happening by collaborating throughout the project with your teammates

·         Hunting for bugs, investigate problems, finding their root cause, clearly document findings and be a strong advocate on behalf of the end user

·         Raising usability concerns and propose solutions to problems after performing scenario-based testing, taking into account the needs of all of our clients

·         Creating and maintain quality system documents and records

·         Gathering project estimations in support of business cases and future projects

·         Contributing to the improvement of how we do testing at Appointment-Plus

QA – Requirements :

·         3-5 years of overall quality assurance/software testing experience

·         Strong understanding of the Software Development/Testing Life Cycle (STLC/SDLC)

·         Prefer knowledge with HP QTP software

·         Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a desire to learn in a dynamic environment

·         Must be self-directed and self-motivated

·         Excellent written & verbal communication skills that are effective with clients as well as internal team  members

·         BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred
