Andhra Bank, formed in 1923 is one of the leading public sector banks in India.With headquarters in Hyderabad,the bank operates across 20 states with 1300 branches & 13000+ employees.As part of common written exam for bank jobs, Andhra bank is inviting online applications for Clerk positions.

In less than 2 days, 3 banks have announced their clerk recruitments.Aspirants who were complaining of banks going slow in releasing the ads are now in a dilemma on which to apply!!

Clerks – 600 posts – salary of approx.Rs.13840 /month

Note:

Interviews may be held in June 2012

Am I eligible:

The following conditions must be satisfied for candidates to apply

  • Agelimit: 18 – 28 yrs, as on 1.08.2011 (+3 yrs for OBC, +5yrs for SC/ST)
  • Should have completed graduation (any degree) from a recognized university,
  • Knowledge in computer operations (MS-Office software) is necessary
  • To have proficiency in local language of the chosen state
  • The exam centre should be located in the state applying for vacancies

The minimum TWS score for each state & category has been detailed & applicants must posses it along with a valid scorecard.

GD & Interview

The selection process for Andhra bank clerical recruitment includes group discussion (if necessary) followed by Interviews.

Although the exact ratio to be followed is not mentioned, the bank would shortlist only those candidates who have sufficiently high score in the IBPS clerk CWE.

Registration fees of Rs.150 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.50 (SC/ST) can be paid via,

  1. Andhra bank branches
  2. Any branch of other banks through NEFT
  3. Online payment through website

Fee deposit should happen only between 21.04.2012 and 05.05.2012

After obtaining payment receipt, logon to andhrabank.in recruitment section & click on the ‘clerk recruitment project’.Enter the required information carefully to submit the form.

While noting the registration. no. & password, also make sure to print the system application form for future reference.
